Atal Tinkering Lab

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Bokaro Steel City has fully function Atal tinkering Lab. It was inaugurated on 31st October 2021. Students of KV 1 Bokaro particularly from class VI to XII are using ATL lab for making different innovative projects and prototypes. Syllabus and different activities which is given on website www.aim.nic.in is taught to students. Thought ATL lab is accessible to all students of class VI to XII, 46 students have been selected as ATL members. They are imparted different training and workshops from time to time to keep them updated with latest technological advancement. KV 1 Bokaro is enthusiastically taking part in all ATL related event like ATL Marathon, Mega Tinkering Activity, Community Day celebration etc. Best Practices: ATL lab remains always open for students. Any students can come to lab and make their project. They are being assisted by ATL-In-charge. A log book is maintained to keep record of students utilizing ATL resources.

Achievements:

1. In year 2021-22, one team from our Vidyalaya won ATL Marathon 2021-22 . Team lead by Master Atul Kumar, Class XII. His project was Virotech Robo.
2. In year 2022-23, 07 team have participated in ATL Marathon and among them one team lead by Master Shivam of class IX, won the ATL Marathon 2022-23. His project was Directional Barrier Alert System.
3. In year 2023-24 also 07 teams have participated in ATL marathon.
4. Our Vidyalaya has been selected as ATL School of the Month for the month of October 2023.
