Scout and Guide activities at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Bokaro form an important part of the holistic development of students. These activities provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, teamwork, discipline, self-reliance, cooperation and a sense of community service.
More than 300 students of the Vidyalaya actively participate in Scout and Guide activities. Students are engaged in various projects, outdoor activities, skill-development exercises and community-service programmes. These activities help them develop confidence, decision-making abilities, problem-solving skills and a sense of social responsibility.
Scout and Guide activities also promote important values such as discipline, respect for others, cooperation, responsibility and environmental conservation. Through practical and experiential learning, students learn to work together, face challenges and contribute positively to society.
The active participation of 387 students reflects the Vidyalaya’s commitment to nurturing responsible, disciplined, confident and socially conscious citizens. Thus, Scout and Guide activities make a valuable contribution to the physical, social, emotional and moral development of students.
